Red Rock Canyon, NV

First off, I’d just like to say thank you to the league of loyal fans and readers that check my blog everyday for updates; I now reward your persistence.

Today I will be driving to Red Rock Canyon, Nevada (which is just outside of Las Vegas.  My good buddy Jameson will be driving with me, mostly to keep me awake.  This is a RCKCLMBNG trip!  (I told you I could speak L33t, Luke)  We will be picking up Jameson’s Brother Joe and Joe’s Wife Heidi at the Las Vegas airport as they are flying from their home in Canada.  (the land of All Sport, and pre bagged milk [pretty sure it comes out of the cow like that])

We will be partaking in bouldering (without the boom-cam) sport climbing, and possibly a day consisting of a multi-pitch sport climb.

Unfortunately, Joe currently has the flu [bleh] and Heidi has a moderate tear of her MCL.  Soooooo… they may jusy be belaying us the whole time.  I feel really sorry for the two of them, I’m sure they want nothing more than to be able to at least enjoy the experience of being outdoors, hopefully they’ll be able to.

So, I leave today and I return on Thurs. the 12th.
